OCD Support Groups
Support Group for Parents of Children with OCD
This is a biweekly ongoing support group for parents and caregivers of children (aged 6-17) who have OCD or phobias. The group purposes are:
to gain knowledge about how OCD and phobias work
to understand how ERP (Exposure Response Prevention) treatment works
to take an active role in your child’s treatment and recovery
to connect with other parents and caregivers for mutual support in order to feel less alone in the experience
You will be able to move from feelings of helplessness and distress, to confidently taking an active role in treatment based on understanding more clearly how the illness functions, and what kinds of strategies work.
Cost: $40 per 60-minute session
Format: Zoom
Schedule: Group is currently forming. Start date and schedule will be determined based on participant availability

Support Group for Adults with OCD and Phobias
An ongoing support group for adults (aged 18+) who are living with OCD or phobias and who are currently attending or have completed individual ERP (Exposure Response Prevention) treatment. The group purposes are:
to help people living with OCD and phobias to connect with one-another and improve treatment effectiveness by sharing treatment and recovery strategies and experiences
to help with maintenance of ERP skills following completion of treatment
Cost: $40 per 60-minute session
Format: Hybrid Zoom and in-person
Schedule: Group is currently forming. Start date and schedule will be determined based on participant availability

Stephanie Blum LMHC
Stephanie has been specializing in treating OCD since 2012, and helping people with OCD is truly her passion. She works with children, teens, adults, and parents, and has also led support groups.
Ian Laidlaw LCSW-R
In practice since 2011, Ian has established three mental health treatment centers and runs regional trainings on mental health treatment. He is ERP trained and has worked with adults and children in OCD and phobia recovery, including personal experience in his own family.
